Business Update: Reflecting on 'The Method to the Madness' with Two Films at 100% on Rotten Tomatoes!

Thank you once again for being a part of the Legion M family. Your commitment and support are playing an instrumental role as we strive to put a Legion M shaped dent in the entertainment industry, and we are grateful.

When we first embarked on this journey (over 7 years ago), we had more than just a vision: we had a methodical stepping stone approach to achieve our goals. We fondly termed this path the "Method to the Madness." Many of you may recall us detailing the strategy in early investor calls where we would describe each phase along the way.

Reflecting on our journey today, it's motivating to see the distance we've traveled and incredibly, just how accurate that map turned out to be (who knew!). But the most exciting thing about all of this is the chapter that is unfolding before us. The buzz is real and we're leveling up as we move into 'phase 4'! Legion M is now officially entering a new era of growth where we have the autonomy and strength to conceptualize, greenlight, and release projects of our own. Our destiny is truly in our own hands, and together as a united community we're not just watching the future of entertainment unfold – we’re helping shape it.

As we enter this new phase, we are happy to report that the first two official Legion M productions, William Shatner: You Can Call Me Bill and The Man in the White Van are currently standing firm at 100% positive on Rotten Tomatoes! Both of these projects were born at Legion M and were developed, nurtured, and brought to life by our dedicated team. And in the case of the William Shatner doc, the project was 100% completely financed by our community in just 4 days. Wow!

While we're still early in the release cycle of both these films, we are very encouraged by the reception right out of the gate. If you haven’t already, check out the first look at the trailers for our Shatner doc and also the world premiere reactions to The Man in the White Van at Newport Beach Film Festival.

These projects belong to all of us and the buzz they generate is a testament to what we can achieve together. Fast on the heels of these projects will be My Dead Friend Zoe, another film which was nurtured, produced and financed by our community. We are deep into post-production and believe we have yet another winner on our hands!

Even so, there are no shortages of challenges that still lie before us. First off we need to “crack the code” on distribution, so we can make the most of the release cycle for these projects. This is particularly daunting given the state of the market, and the seismic shifts that are occurring in the movie industry today. That said, we believe Legion M is better equipped than most companies to deal with these challenges, and are looking forward to putting our theories to the test when it’s time to release. Stay tuned for more information on that front.

At the same time, we’re looking for ways to build on the early success of these projects and continue our trajectory of leveling up to bigger and better things. From what we’ve seen so far, the quantity and quality of new projects barreling toward us is awesome. We can’t wait to share more about that as well.

In the meantime, every milestone we reach is more than just an achievement; each is proof of our collective strength and commitment, and the power of a united community. With every step, we're validating the ‘method to the madness’ and redefining the entertainment industry. If we continue to grow, pretty soon, nothing will be able to stop us.

Thank you for believing in the vision, for taking a chance on our mad plan and for all that you do to support us everyday. Together, we've started something monumental and the best is yet to come.

Onward and Upward!
