Sometimes life imitates art in the best ways. The movie NIMRODS is about a band that road-trips out to LA to open for Green Day at one of their shows. In the movie, they had to steal a car to get there...
We're going to make it easier than that.
In honor of the theatrical release of NIMRODS on August 14, we're partnering with Green Day & the film's producers to launch the NIMRODS "Crash The Premiere" Contest! Just like the film, the contest celebrates garage bands, punk-rockers, and musicians of all kinds across the Idiot Nation. Bands across the USA are invited to post a video of a performance of their original song to TikTok or Instagram and tag #NimrodsMovieContest.
From those submissions, a panel of judges (including the NIMRODS director & producers) will invite ONE BAND to crash the film's Hollywood premiere on August 12!
And premiere tickets are just the beginning. The winning band will also receive travel out to LA, comped hotels for the night of the premiere, and have their original song played on Green Day's SiriusXM station "Idiot Nation."
