Film Scouts Assemble! Sundance and SXSW Planning

 
 

As Legion M gears up for distribution, film festivals are taking on an increasing importance.

Which means…we need film scouts!

Longtime Legion M’ers will be happy to know we’re revamping our popular FILM SCOUT app. This allows you to take part in Legion M’s scouting activities from the comfort of your own home. We’ll have more info about this once the app is ready to download – stay tuned!

For those interested in scouting a film festival in-person, we’re starting our planning for Sundance (January in Park City) and SXSW (March in Austin). Going to a film festival is a bucket-list event. Going as a LegionM Film Scout makes it even better!

To be clear, you’ll have to pay your own way to attend one of these festivals. But Legion M is creating an online community space to coordinate activities (answering questions, sharing deals, connecting with other Legion M’ers, etc) beforehand. And we’re planning to have multiple meetups at each festival so the Legion M community can hang out, compare notes, and coordinate our FILM SCOUT activities.
