FILM SCOUT Now Open for Sundance 2022

The Film Scout app has been updated with this year’s Sundance Film Festival matchups. Stock Split Update

From Dec 27th 2021 through Jan 7th 2022, Legion M held a shareholder vote on a proposed 10-for-1 stock split that would split every existing share into 10 shares. To read more about the proposal, please check out the Stock Split Proposal FAQ. The vote was conducted via KoreConX, Legion M’s SEC registered transfer agent and the keeper of the company’s cap table (i.e. the place where you can login to to see your shares). While we’re still waiting to get a final scrutineer’s report from KoreConX, the unofficial results were overwhelming, with nearly 97% of shares voting for the split (this fact was recently backed up with a "straw poll" in the Facebook Group). We are now working through all the logistics, and expect the split to go into effect just prior to Round 9 later this year.

The Man In The White Van In Post Production

Last fall we wrapped our amazing Louisiana crew and finished principal photography on The Man In The White Van. The work wasn’t over for the key creative team, however– as this film is set in Florida, there were some environments that simply couldn’t be recreated without being on the ground in that state. Two weeks ago production wrapped our final few days of pickups in Sarasota, FL, and now we have our sights set on post production. We can’t wait to share this amazing film with you, so be sure to check out our Behind The Scenes Teaser below if you missed it over the holidays.

Round 8 Is Officially Oversubscribed

With over 5,000 investors and $3,000,000 in commitments, Round 8 has been Legion M’s largest and most successful round of fundraising yet. The round was officially oversubscribed on Jan 4th, and as of this writing (1/20/22), there is a growing waitlist that is getting longer by the day. We are working with StartEngine and our securities lawyers to see what we can do to accommodate the extra demand. Development Update

We’re excited to let everyone in the Legion know that we’ve moved from the outline stage to the scripting stage for the TV show we sold in early 2021. The writer’s room is turning out scripts that are AMAZING. We can’t wait to share more exciting updates and more specific details once we are able, but for now know that we are pedal-to-the-metal in moving forward, and things are looking great.

Storytelling in all formats is the basis of so much of our lives, from transmission of history, to exploring the mores of our society, to escaping reality.

27 years now as a theatre professional, mainly sets, props & lighting design. I also teach these subjects at a California Community College.
