ISA FIlm Scout — Back in May we partnered with the International Screenwriters’ Association (ISA) to help launch their “Table Read My Screenplay 2022” competition, and provide unique awards! Voting is now open for the Legion M Film Scout Award, which will be determined with the Legion M Film Scout App. Download Film Scout to review and rank the synopses of 16 of the top screenplays from the competition. The top rated four scripts will be read and reviewed by the Legion M Development Executives. From those finalists, one screenwriter will attain the Legion M Film Scout Award and earn a meeting with Legion M Execs to discuss their screenplay and possible development. Scouting ends Friday, September 2.
Fantastic Fest 2022 — Fantastic Fest and Legion M have partnered to release Film Scout at this year's festival! Film Scouts will compete against one another for honor and prizes, and the reviews provided by these fantastic film fans will be used by Legion M and their partners to evaluate movies for potential distribution deals. William Shatner Hall H Panel — At this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, Legion M was privileged to host our first ever panel in Hall H, before a live audience of thousands of fans. Moderated by Kevin Smith, William Shatner discussed the upcoming definitive documentary from Legion M and Exhibit A Pictures about his life and career. Defiant — Legion M continues to defy (pun intended) expectations... We're in the middle of completing a deal with an exciting new partner for an initiative on this project that will help us develop the script with a new, modern point of view. Our goal is to announce details this fall, as soon as the deal for our partner is finished. Needless to say, we are working very hard to set this project up for success!
Unnamed Streaming Series — We’re still negotiating our turnaround deal with our streamer, but are ready to take this project back out as soon as it’s done.
New Projects Coming Soon — And in more secretive news... we've got two new projects that we're adding to our slate (pending us closing both deals), including an adult animated comedy series and an independent feature film that centers around life in (and after) the military. We are so excited for both projects that we feel will speak to all kinds of audiences and can’t wait to announce details as soon as the deals close!
