We’ll be at NYCC all weekend with some fun events to check out!

Fantastic Fest & Film Scout Ends Saturday
October 8 will be your last day to Scout films at FF and compete for one of 40 prizes. You must complete at least 5 matchups to qualify for our “Better To Be Lucky Than Good” prizes, and 40 matchups to qualify for the Grand Prize (and/or Elite Scout status). The Man In White Van
We had a creative meeting with our financier last week and discussed next steps for the film, which include finishing the edit and moving into sound. We’re still tweaking the edit, and made a huge decision this week to try a new opening sequence, which we think is much better than the previous sequence we were working with for several reasons. Now we’re going to work through the rest of the film to see how moving that scene affects other scenes down the line. It may be a huge mistake, or it may be a wonderful tweak — that is the magic of movie making — and the wonderful thing about a long editing process — we get to try a lot of creative things and see what works! We’ll let you know if this works in the next newsletter.
