Let the NIMRODS Games Begin!
In case you didn’t notice, the NIMRODS trailer is out and it is generating some pretty awesome buzz. In fact, we're just going to say it right here in call caps… WE COULD NOT BE MORE EXCITED ABOUT THIS FILM!
So far, the response has been fabulous.
When Jeff and I first saw NIMRODS at TIFF, we loved it. We immediately shared it with a group of Film Scouts and Legion M investors to get a broader read. They loved it too. So we went and got it!
But until you release the trailer, and frankly until the movie itself comes out, you just never know.
MASSIVE BUZZ
Last week we opened the cage and let the NIMRODS trailer loose on the internet. Within minutes, stories started popping up everywhere. BUZZFEED. ROLLING STONE. BILLBOARD. THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER. STEREOGUM. IGN. And too many others to include in this email.
The trailer also exploded across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit and X, racking up millions of views and an incredible amount of engagement.
Fans Are ALL IN
We're thrilled to see how excited the Legion M community is. The multigenerational Green Day fans are stoked, and the rapidly growing fan communities around McKenna Grace and Mason Thames, two of the fastest-rising young stars in the business, are psyched.
We've still got a long road between now and August 14 and a lot of fun things to share along the way. But it's exciting to see how strong this first week has opened.
So grab a seat, crank up the tunes, and let's hit the road. August 14 is our destination but the fun part is getting there.
Rock On!
For those who want to go the extra mile and participate directly in the release, we still have availability in the Film Fund for NIMRODS.
FACKHAM HALL sold out and performed extremely well for the fund. In fact, a portion of the funds from Fackham Hall are already back and rolling into NIMRODS.
COYOTE VS. ACME sold out as well and is shaping up to be another special release.
