A Special Message from the Cast & Producers of 'My Dead Friend Zoe'

Making a movie is hard. Watching a movie is easy. Thankfully, the hard part is over!

We’re just one week away from the premiere of our new film MY DEAD FRIEND ZOE, which hits theaters nationwide February 28. We couldn’t have done it without the support and financing from investors like you (both directly in the film and indirectly through Legion M). To show you just how much we appreciate our community, the cast & producers wanted to express their gratitude in this short video!

So far we’ve had a tremendous amount of buzz for the film. From Exec Producer Travis Kelce’s praise in People Magazine to glowing reviews from influencers with millions of followers, to our pristine 100% Rotten Tomatoes score, everyone who sees this film comes away feeling moved. But all of that will mean nothing if people don’t actually buy a ticket to go see the film, and spread the word about it. It’s hard for independent films to break through the noise in a world of big studio marketing budgets and Captain America sequels, but we believe MY DEAD FRIEND ZOE is a movie with a larger-than-life message that deserves to be seen on the big screen. That’s why we say to you– THIS IS OUR MOMENT. We founded Legion M on the premise that a large group of engaged fans could boost the success of bold, original, impactful projects like this. The hard work of the creators is done, and now it’s up to us to carry the torch forward.

These are the things that you can do to help make this film a success:

  1. Get your tickets to see the film opening weekend! A strong opening gives theaters confidence to keep a small-but-mighty film like ours on more screens for longer.

  2. Rally your crew! Movies are more fun with friends, so put up the bat signal on text chains, message boards, and company water coolers.

  3. Share the trailer and/or Bronze Star combat veteran & director Kyle Hausmann-Stokes’ personal story (which inspired the film) with your friends or on social.
