Legion M Attends MERITxZOE Screening in DC!
Last week, we announced an awesome new feature film in development, My Dead Friend Zoe—an important story about complicated friendships, divided family, and the complex ways we all process grief. Then on Tuesday, September 13th, members and investors from the Legion M community joined talent and cast, plus Legion M CEO Paul Scanlan on the red carpet at the US Navy Memorial in Washington, DC for a special screening of MERITxZOE , the acclaimed short our project is based on. The film was followed by a Q&A panel (hosted by veteran issues specialist Chris Marvin), with the cast, writer/director/Army veteran Kyle Hausmann-Stokes, and leaders from The Mission Continues, Everytown For Gun Safety, and the Bob Woodruff Foundation where discussion centered around ways the film, these organizations, and the rest of us can have a meaningful impact on the lives of veterans and their families.
We’re super-excited about My Dead Friend Zoe and can’t wait to share more about it as we work to develop the film for the big screen. In the meantime, you can read more about the project by clicking the button below.
