"Stay At Home" with Legion M!
Times are tough right now. And while some folks are used to being home all the time (like our very own staff), for others this is terrifying new territory. If you’re stuck at home and starting to climb the walls or claw at your skin, check out our top ten recommended activities for how YOU can “Stay At Home” with Legion M!
1. HAVE A LEGION M MOVIE MARATHON
Did you know that there is a way to stream every Legion M project? Well, now you do! So there is absolutely no excuse for you not to have seen our entire collection of films to date. Here is a list where you can catch them all. Watch them in our featured order, or create your own! It’s like the Star Wars films. Everyone has their own watch order. Let us know what yours is!
2. PLAY THE JAY & SILENT BOB “SMELL MY FINGER” GAME
Have you already been through every board game in your house? Twice? Not to worry! Legion M got your back (or your face) with this smelly new game. If you’re good at sniffing and riffing, Jay and Silent Bob Smell My Finger Game is for you! The scents you use for the game can be found in your own home or wherever you want to go to find the funk as you prepare for the game.
3. COLOR THE GIRL WITH NO NAME COMIC BOOK
Whether you've got kids at home or are just a kid at heart, this coloring book is fun for all ages! Color some of your favorite images from the Girl With No Name comic book and then share your amazing talents with the world by posting the finished product on social media and tagging @legionmofficial!
4. DO A PHOTO SHOOT IN YOUR LEGION M GEAR
While we love taking photos of staff in our own merchandise, we would MUCH rather see it on YOU! If you’ve got some Legion M gear at home, throw it on and do a little catwalk. We want to see your Legion M pride! And if you are brave enough to submit your photos to our Legion M Model Search, we just may feature it in our store!
5. JOIN A LEGION M GAME NIGHT
Did you tune in to our Twitch stream while we were in Park City? If you did, then you are already familiar with the fantastic fun that is playing Jackbox TV games with Legion M! Come to one of our scheduled Legion M Game Nights and play along with us every Friday at 5pm PST / 8pm EST! All you need is an internet connection and a mobile device or computer. Watch and play for free, subscribe to our channel to chat! (Amazon Prime members can sub for free.)
6. READ THE EMPEROR’S BLADES
In case you have been living under a rock since the holidays, Legion M is developing Brian Staveley’s incredible novel trilogy “Chronicle of the Unhewn Throne” into a television series. There is no better time to sit down with the first book “The Emperor’s Blades” to familiarize yourself with the characters, story, and universe! You’ll want to read them soon because we are planning to have a live online Q&A session with the author himself very soon. So get reading!
7. CONNECT WITH ONE ANOTHER VIA OUR FACEBOOK GROUP
Now more than ever, we need to come together as a community. Support and check on one another and offer your help, if you can. Our Legion M Members Only Facebook Group is a great way to meet folks in the Legion, bond over common interests, and possibly even help fill a need for someone in your online community.
8. MEDITATE TO THE MANDY SOUNDTRACK
There is nothing more soothing than the dulcet tones of the Mandy soundtrack. Whether you’re listening digitally or on vinyl, take a journey into the deep recesses of your mind with Jóhann Jóhannsson’s incredible sound.
9. FINISH YOUR SCREENPLAY
Take advantage of your new home-bound life and finish that screenplay! Come on, we know it’s been sitting on your hard drive since Clinton was president. Dust it off and get it done! Check out this Screenwriting AMA from Legion M executives Terri Lubaroff and David Baxter for advice and inspiration.
10. TOUR THE NEW LEGION M MEMBER PORTAL
If you’re a Legion M investor, you are now able to activate your account with our brand new Member Portal! Check out your shares, give us feedback on our projects, poke around the features, write a testimonial, and let us know what you want to see next. While the portal is no longer in beta, it is still in its early stages — be gentle!
