Adult Swim features “Tobor” creators’ short “Sucks To Be The Moon”

It’s been a little while since we first announced the development of our animated series TOBOR: Family Destroyer from Tiny Little Cartoons creators Eric Paperth & Tyler March. In the past year, we’ve forged partnerships with a major studio and a well-known production company to take the pitch wide. While we can’t share the exact details yet, we’re expecting to begin pitching buyers over the next several weeks, and hope to have good news to share on this project in the near future.

In the meantime, you should get to know Eric & Tyler, because they are absolutely hilarious and rising stars in comedy animation. Their award-winning short Sucks To Be The Moon recently aired on Adult Swim, features Academy Award Nominee Stephanie Hsu (Everything Everywhere All At Once), and was selected as a Vimeo Staff Pick.

TOBOR: Family Destroyer

We’ve been working with Eric & Tyler to develop our animated show TOBOR: Family Destroyer since the script came across our desk more than two years ago. The concept is hilarious: An assassin robot is sent to neutralize the future leader of the human resistance (a teenage girl living in suburban New Jersey) and systematically destroys her life… by dating her mom.

We’re thrilled at all the recent traction behind this project! If you’d like a refresher, you can learn more about TOBOR and watch the teaser trailer here.

Eric Paperth & Tyler March

Eric and Tyler are lifelong best friends who have been working together creatively for 19 years; teaming up in junior high to write needlessly angsty punk music and eventually transitioning into a professional career in animation. Their instantly recognizable visual style and comedic voice is highlighted through their social channels under the brand "Tiny Little Cartoons," where they’ve amassed over 45 million views and 200k followers. Their work has been featured on FOX’s AOK, Cartuna, TruTV, Bleacher Report and more.

We’re freaking stoked to be working with a creative duo like Eric & Tyler and look forward to pitching Tobor this summer to buyers. Wish us luck! And if you want more ridiculous Tiny Little Cartoons, check out Eric & Tyler’s channel on YouTube.
