A Kentucky Evening With William Shatner — What to Expect

WHAT TO EXPECT

All attendees should have received a confirmation email with their ticket information at the time the purchase was made, so if you aren’t seeing that, please check your spam/promotions folder on the chance it was routed there by mistake. If you still aren’t able to find it, you can email events@legionm.com and we’d be happy to assist you further.

NOTE: GA/Premium ticket holders do not have access to the VIP Afterparty, which will be attended by the film's director, producers and the man himself, William Shatner. If you would like to upgrade to VIP Seating with Afterparty tickets, please let us know via the email above.

ATTIRE & WHAT IT MEANS TO WALK THE RED CARPET: The goal of this event is to have fun. There's no dress code, but there is a red carpet for those who want to walk it (be sure to get there early!). We'll have professional photographers on hand -- our own private paparazzi -- to take photos that will be shared digitally via email sometime the week following the event. We also expect to have press outlets covering the arrival of Mr. Shatner and other celebrity guests.

Most importantly, we want everyone to feel comfortable. So those who prefer watching the red carpet rather than walking it, will be able to enter directly into the theater at any time once the doors open.

The great thing about red carpets is that they mean different things to different people. For some it means fancy and formal. For others it means trendy. Or cosplay. Or clothes that make a statement. For many (including William Shatner) it means casual - clothes that look good but have a more relaxed vibe.

Our advice is to dress however makes YOU happy. We only get so many red carpet opportunities in life -- make the most of it! If you want to get dressed up and grab a moment in the spotlight, GO FOR IT! If you'd prefer to be comfy and watch from the "fan pit" that's great too. Together, we're going to make it a helluva night!

RED CARPET ARRIVAL TIME: Check-in will start at 4:30pm, so please plan your arrival so that you have plenty of time to get your picture taken as you walk the Red Carpet, which will be open to all attendees from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. NOTE: these photos do not include William Shatner. If you have purchased the separate Shatner Photo Op, those photos are being taken after Q&A ends (so starting at approximately 9:00pm). If you would like to purchase a Photo Op with Mr. Shatner, it is available as an add-on here.

WILLIAM SHATNER ARRIVAL: Mr. Shatner is expected to arrive around 6:00pm to walk and get interviewed on the red carpet. We’ll have a “fan pit" available for those that would like to watch.

SCREENING & Q&A: The screening will start promptly at 6:30pm, followed directly by the live Q&A, which starts around 8:00pm.

MERCH PICK UP: If your ticket includes any merch, it can be picked up in the lobby of the Kentucky Theatre at the designated Merch Table, either as you arrive or directly after the Q&A has ended.

LOCATION AND PARKING:  The Kentucky Theatre is located at 214 East Main St in Lexington, KY. There are several parking garages and lots in the area around the Kentucky Theatre. For more specific information, you can find full details on parking for the event here.

ACCESSIBILITY: The Kentucky Theatre’s entrance, screening areas and public areas, along with their restrooms are all fully accessible. Wheelchair spots and assistive hearing technology are also available in the theater if needed. If you have any accessibility needs please reach out to events@legionm.com for assistance.

DRESS CODE: There are no “official” dress code requirements — keep in mind though, it is a Red Carpet event, so we suggest dressy to business casual attire. But if you want to dress as your favorite Shatner character, that would also be awesome!

CONCESSIONS: If you want a snack during the screening, popcorn, candy, and gourmet chocolates will be available. The Kentucky Theatre also has a full bar, which includes cocktails, wine, and a selection of domestic, imported, and craft beers.

AUTOGRAPHS: WILLIAM SHATNER WILL NOT BE SIGNING AUTOGRAPHS AT THE EVENT. Please don’t bring anything for him to sign. If you would like to get an autographed Blu-ray, DVD, or poster, they are available for purchase as an add-on here.

PHOTOS: Please do not ask Mr. Shatner to pose for any pictures or selfies during the event or afterparty, as this is not something that can be accommodated. If you would like to purchase a Photo Op with William Shatner, it is available as an add-on here. NOTE: each Photo Op is for one (1) person only.

PHOTO OP: If you have purchased a Photo Op with William Shatner add-on, please stop by the designated Merch Table in the lobby of the Kentucky Theatre before the screening to pick up your photo op ticket. Once the Q&A has ended (at approximately 9:00pm), please stay in your seats for a few extra moments while other guests depart, then when directed you can line up to have your photo with Bill taken by our professional photographer. NOTE: All photos will be shared digitally via email sometime the week following the event. .

If you purchased a VIP Seating and Afterparty ticket…

VIP AFTERPARTY: The afterparty starts at 9:00pm, across the street at the Chase Tower building (located at 201 E Main St in Lexington, KY). All the fun will be happening on the top floor, which is accessible via the elevators. NOTE: please do not directly approach Mr. Shatner or ask to take a selfie or photos with Mr. Shatner while he is at the afterparty, as this is not something that can be accommodated. We want Mr. Shatner to be able to enjoy himself – once one person gets a picture, EVERYONE wants a picture!

Q&A QUESTIONS: If you’d like to submit a question for either William Shatner or director Alexandre O. Philippe during the Q&A segment of the evening, please use the link below. NOTE: if chosen, your question will be read on stage during the Q&A portion of the evening.
