Our best-selling Legion M shirts of all time is the Founding Investor shirt. It fills us with a big, warm feeling that so many people take pride in being one of Legion M's earliest investors. It's that kind of spirit that sets Legion M apart from every other entertainment company in the industry.
When we originally released these shirts back in 2016, we never really defined what a “founding investor” was. Some people assumed it meant only the very first round, but that wasn’t the intent.
In general, we don’t think it’s important to segregate our investors based on when they invested. EVERYONE who’s invested at this point is “in on the ground floor” and it’s going to take all of us (and a lot more) for us to achieve what we’ve set out to accomplish. Our early investors are critical of course, our ultimate success is 100% reliant on middle investors and the late investors, and even the very last investors. Bragging rights are great, but we’re in this to unite fans to shape the future of Hollywood. And in that regard, every single one of us is as important as the last.
That said, the “founding investor” stage needs to end at some point, and having raised about $8MM (roughly equivalent of a Series A round for a VC backed startup) from nearly 20,000 investors, we believe that time is now.
As such, we plan to make ONE LAST PRINT RUN of these founding investor shirts, and then retire them as of October, 31, 2019. We’re not going to stock these shirts any more, so if you want one you’ll need to preorder it using the link below. Pre-orders will end on October 31, and the shirts will be delivered a few weeks later. After that these shirts will be gone forever.
