Help Find Our Next Release at TIFF 2026
Coyote vs. ACME is absolutely crushing the Box Office, raking in more than $21M since it released last week. This massive success comes hot on the heels of our second release in as many weeks, NIMRODS, the road-trip comedy produced by Green Day.
We want to keep this momentum going… but we’re fresh outta films! That’s where YOU come in: Film Scout is back for TIFF 2026.
Legion M has found some amazing films over the years at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), including NIMRODS, and we hope this year will be no different.
An All New Scout Platform
We've completely revamped the backend of Film Scout, moving away from apps towards a single browser-based web portal that you can use on any internet-connected device (iPhone, Android, tablet, PC, etc). The portal is still in beta, so if you happen to find any bugs feel free to report them here. Thanks to everyone in the community who helped us test earlier this week!

We have a brand-spankin'-new web portal, which means for the time being we have retired all APP versions of Film Scout. If you still have the Film Scout App on your phone, you can delete it. Instead, sign in to the Web Portal with the email you use for Film Scout.
Note: If you were one of our early beta testers, feel free to finish Scouting the 2026 TIFF program. None of the small updates we've made will affect your current progress.
Playing FILM SCOUT Is Easy!
You'll be presented with information about the films that are playing at TIFF and be asked to tell us which ones you'd like to watch. The whole process is gamified, making it as fun as it is easy-to-use.
But there's more to being a Scout than just sharing your opinions. We also ask you to make predictions about what others will think. And while your opinions are entirely your own, your predictions will be scored! At the end of the festival, we release a leaderboard that shows exactly how you stack up compared to every other Scout on the platform.
If you do a good enough job, you may earn an invitation to join Legion M’s Elite Scout Program. Our Elite Scouts are often tapped to watch early screeners of movies we’re thinking of getting involved in, among other exclusive activities. Before we got involved in NIMRODS, it was reviewed by a number of Elite Scouts. Next time, it could be you!
