Legion M’s 7th Round is open, and with it a test of a disruptive new marketing strategy that gets YOU FREE REWARDS!
As a silicon-valley based startup, Legion M is always looking for new ways to innovate. Over the past 4 years we’ve raised over $10,000,000 from more than 25,000 investors on our way to becoming one of the most successful JOBS Act companies in history. With Round 7, we’re testing a new marketing strategy we think could change the game:
For the next few weeks, Legion M is re-allocating money we’d usually spend with tech companies on digital ads, and instead spending it with businesses we love on REWARDS FOR INVESTORS!
That means that everyone who invests in Round 7 gets a reward along with their investment. It might be tickets to an Alamo Drafthouse, merch credits with Entertainment Earth, membership with the International Screenwriter’s Association, bonus shares of Legion M stock — even tickets to a red carpet Hollywood premiere! These perks are being purchased from our marketing budget using money we’d otherwise spend on ads.
Why are we doing this? Three reasons:
1. IT’S SMART. We’re betting that by investing in our community, the community will respond and help spread the word. In fact, if our models are correct, this approach may reduce our overall marketing spend.
2. IT’S GOOD. By shifting money away from ads and into our community, we’re directly supporting the people and companies we love during a time when many are struggling.
3. IT’S FUN. Would you rather be served ads or rewards? Duh! At Legion M we LOVE finding ways to flip the model – especially when it benefits FANS.
Will the strategy work? Who knows. Like most things Legion M does, we’re starting with a trial. If it works, we’d love nothing more than to make it permanent. If not, we’ll learn and move on to the next great experiment!

Bonus shares are calculated by multiplying the bonus percentage by the number of shares bought, and rounding down to the nearest whole share.
If a reward is cancelled or otherwise becomes unavailable, investor will have the option to select another perk.
Travel/accommodations not included for premier tickets.
Entertainment Earth merch credit can be used for in-stock merchandise only. Shipping and taxes may apply. The entire credit must be used in one purchase — any remainder will be forfeited.
Round 7 T-shirt is exclusive to Round 7 investors, and free when chosen as part of a reward package. Cost of shipping is not included.
Investor is responsible for any tax consequences of rewards.
Perks will be selected within the Legion M shareholder portal, and will be distributed after each investment closes.
