WHAT: Legion M: How the Power of Fandom is Changing Hollywood
WHO: Join Legion M’s co-founder Paul Scanlan, COO Terri Lubaroff, head of development David Baxter and moderator Dave Elliott (A1 Comics) as they discuss how the world’s first fan-owned entertainment company is giving fans a first-ever chance to invest in films and television, and truly be a part of Hollywood and change the way entertainment is made.
The company’s executives will reveal exciting new television and film projects being developed by Legion M. Some of its development slate includes projects from Legion M members who have joined forces with the company to turn their Hollywood dreams into reality.
Legion M execs will also share how the company’s fan-owners are getting involved and creating a grassroots network to support and invest in genre feature films like Colossal starring Anne Hathaway and Jason Sudeikis, Sundance Film Festival critically acclaimed Mandy starring Nicolas Cage, and the David Tennant psychological thriller Bad Samaritan, debuting at theaters nationwide May 4.
Bad Samaritan producer-director Dean Devlin (Independence Day, Stargate, Godzilla) will make a very special guest appearance and discuss how his production company Electric Entertainment and Legion M came together on Bad Samaritan and why it’s a natural partnership for Dean as he continues to change the vision of filmmaking and distribution. He will also reveal a WonderCon-exclusive surprise during the Legion M panel.
