SHAREHOLDER EXCLUSIVE: Preproduction Art from MANDY
When the Legion M team read the script for Mandy (read more) last spring, there was one scene that got us REALLY excited. Without sharing too many details, the scene can be summed up in two words--CHAINSAW BATTLE!!!!
Today, we are delighted to have the first look at preproduction artwork for that scene, which director Panos Cosmatos has provided EXCLUSIVELY for Legion M, along with the following note:
Greetings Legion M!
First of all, I want to thank you all for helping us make our movie Mandy. Johann’s score is incredible.
I also wanted to share with you a piece of concept art by the talented Andrew Domachowski we call “Chainsaw Fight”, for obvious reasons.
I’ve been working on this film for ten years and your support in bringing it to life means the world to me. It’s a challenging, outlandish movie but also, I hope, a very entertaining and moving one. That was our goal, and I can’t wait for you all to see it.

Panos and his team are working around-the-clock to finish the movie in time for Sundance. In fact, one of the producers will be hand-delivering the final cut from the editing bay in Belgium to Park City just in time for it's premiere Friday night.
We can't wait to see the movie (we've seen a few clips, but at this point NOBODY has seen the completed film), and hear Jóhann Jóhannsson's score (read more). We don't yet know when or where the movie will release (part of the goal at Sundance is to meet with potential distributors), but when we do, we'll be quick to share the information.
