Legion Insider #042

Spoiler: In the Harry Potter series, the alias of Voldemort is “Tom Marvolo Riddle,” the letters of which when rearranged spell out “I Am Lord Voldemort.” The Harry Potter series was translated into over 60 languages, and so according to Insider, the name Tom Riddle sometimes needed to be adjusted. For example, in the French translation of Harry Potter, Voldemort’s alias is actually “Tom Elvis Jedusor” so that his name rearranges to “Je suis Voldemort” (“I am Voldemort”). Also, in the films, Voldemort’s snakelike nose is not makeup – they digitally removed his nose in post.
