Welcome Ramona Snyder, Program Manager for our Ambassador Program

Today we're excited to introduce you to Ramona Snyder, our newest team member, and announce the new Legion M Ambassador Program that she'll be running.

If you haven't met Ramona, hopefully you'll be able to soon. As a Round 1 investor and Valor Award winner, she's been a part of Legion M since the very beginning. Over the years she's attended a number of events including Comic Cons, Film Festivals, the Stan Lee Party, and the Saturn Awards. She also worked for 6 years as a professional volunteer manager, running the HOST program at a Northern California International Airport. In short — she's the PERFECT person to head up Legion M's new Ambassador Program!

What is the Ambassador Program?
As a fan-owned company, Legion M has numerous supporters that offer to lend their energy and talents to the company. We believe this a win-win — those in the community get a chance to become more deeply involved with the company they own a stake in, while enabling the company to do things that might not otherwise be possible. In the end, all Legion M shareholders benefit.

Comic Cons and film festivals are a great example. There are amazing events happening around the country every weekend. In a perfect world we'd love to have Legion M represented at them all! Time, money, and travel makes most of these events cost prohibitive, but by teaming up with local Legion M supporters we can achieve a reach and scale that otherwise wouldn't be possible.

Enter Ramona
While the idea of an Ambassador Program is a no-brainer, the execution can be complicated. Nobody knows this better than Ramona, who managed a team of over 200 volunteers at a Northern California International Airport. All of the logistics need to be organized and the mischief needs to be managed. For us to truly harness the power of our community, we need to develop organized and well-run programs that can scale over time.

So, Ramona will spearhead our effort, working directly with the Legion M team to build out the processes and infrastructure that allow our operations to run smoothly. Her initial target is the Ambassador Program, but we hope to build and/or upgrade many of our efforts (including our Elite Scout program) over time.

So How Does This All Work?
By signing up for the Legion M Ambassador Program, you’ll be added to our list of ambassadors across the country. Ramona is building out a multi-level tutorial to provide our ambassadors with the information and skills they need to represent Legion M. Based on availability, we'll assess the viability of hosting booths/events at various comic cons, film festivals, and other events. The more events you are able to attend, the more you'll be able to "level-up" within the program and unlock additional opportunities.

What Do I Get For Being An Ambassador?
Our ambassadors typically get free day-passes to the event they are attending. While they are expected to hangout at the Legion M booth for at least a few hours — we want to give you plenty of free time to wander the con and explore the other booths, artists, and panels. Depending on the event, we often provide free lunch and/or snacks, as well as free gear from the Legion M store.

More than anything, it's an opportunity to get to know the Legion M team and to support YOUR company. Because when we unite, we can do anything!
