It’s been 2 weeks since Legion M announced that we are in soft prep for a feature film called THE MAN IN THE WHITE VAN! As promised, we will be posting regular updates on the process. Here is your recap for this week!

CASTING

We have interviewed casting directors and identified a team that we’re going to be working with. The next step is to make a formal offer to their agent, which is happening this week.

MATERIALS

We have completed two pieces of key art for pitching. The first one you’ve seen — we used it in our announcement as well as the landing page (see above)! The second one will be used for the pitch deck as we look for financing and distribution. Don’t worry, we’re not keeping this one to ourselves — we will reveal the second image to you as a special gift when we are fully financed!

PRODUCTION MEETINGS

We have hired a rockstar line producer and have had several production meetings with him over budget, location shooting, and various aspects of our pre-production. He has a lot of great ideas about how to use our budget most efficiently while still staying true to the director’s vision. While we haven’t locked in a shooting location yet, we are looking at locations in the southeast United States and California as options. A lot of our budgeting is dependent on location, so we’re working quickly to come to the best conclusion!
