Legion M, the worlds first FAN-OWNED entertainment company is proud to partner with RLJ Entertainment, SpectreVision, uMedia, and XYZ Films for the release of one of the most anticipated films of the year. After premiering as one of the best reviewed films at Sundance (and receiving a four minute-long standing ovation at Cannes) Mandy is on it’s way to becoming a true cult classic!
The movie, along with Jóhann Jóhannsson's heavy metal score, was financed in part by Legion M's 40,000+ investors and members. To celebrate we hosted over 60 opening weekend meetups around the country, and created a line of official Mandy merch. Legion M has HUGE NEWS! After a year-and-a-half of negotiation and persistence, we have closed a contract with Nicolas Cage for his likeness rights as his character “Red Miller” from Mandy. This means we’re finally creating the first ever officially licensed “Red Miller” merchandise!

This past weekend marked an exciting first for Legion M — the 2 year anniversary re-release of Mandy. This was notable in that was the first time in our history that Legion M had directly booked theaters for showings of one of our films.

With four jam-packed days of incredible panels, previews, exhibits, cosplay, parties and experiential activations, we made San Diego our home away from home over the SDCC weekend. Because SDCC has become a tentpole event for Legion M, we wanted to really blow it out this year. Mission accomplished!
